Since the beginning of October I started following a new training program. It is based on the principle of supercompensation, which basically means to time each tough training event exactly when the performance reaches the top above last cycles top. You can see it illustrated below
I believe in this method. I'm currently at my 2nd period of the 10k sub 40 program and it feels quite good. I have already run 2 races at sub 40 before I started on this program, but Gavin, who gives me feedback at the forum thought it best to start by doing a couple of cycles of sub 40 to get adjusted to the program.
